List of Books
This collection includes both original narratives and adaptations of existing literary works. My approach to picture books is deeply rooted in storytelling - whether reimagining the classics or building new worlds from scratch, I aim to create emotionally resonant visual journeys.
Beyond illustration, I also explore the physical form of books. I have experience hand-binding books in various formats, including stab binding, accordion folds, and zines. For me, each book is not just a story, but an object to be held, unfolded, and felt.
A stab binding book based on The Tiger's Bride from The Bloody Chamber(1979) by Angela Carter.
A parody of Touken Range characters and original Saniwa character based on The Secret Garden(1911) by Frances Hodgson Burnett.
A series of 12 illustrations based on "The Cat Office", "The Fourth of the Narcissus Month", and "Snow Crossing" by Miyazawa Kenji.
An accordion book project based on an original story.
"What a coincidence to find you here --"
"I'm so sorry, but have we met each other before?"
"Ah-- Perhaps let me reintroduce myself..."
A zine based on an original story.
I would like to believe that we'll all find the one we are searching for.
